just a thought...

I came to realize that people laugh at me because i am tall but i do not understand why though? what is so funny about being tall? I mean if i wore some crazy clothes or make up than i understand but because i am tall people have to laugh at that? can anyone explain that to me? Another funny thing is that they laugh more when i am in flat shoes than in heels, and when i wear heels i am taller but they dont say much....

Real nice Valentine.....

This year's Valentines was a real nice day. My best friend before i even got to work brought me a gift for Valentines day, flowers and a singing teddy bear. But the best part of it was how it actually ended up in my department, i work in a hotel which is very big it has 1,100 rooms and 700+ employees. She actually went to the door man and asked if i work here she was not sure if this was the hotel since i work by an airport there are other like 50 diffrent hotels, she knew i work in a Hyatt but there are 2 of them in the area. The door man did not know who i was so he let her use the phone and call PBX (which is the department i work in) she asked if i work here in the hotel and of course my co-worker said yeah since i work with her. Than she gave the gifts to a bell man who was not sure who i was neither so she explained how i look like and of course everyone than knew who i was hahahaha.....thats why i like being tall because than everyone knows who you are, i stand out from all the 700+ employees that work here, i am pretty sure everyone saw me at least once here, but finding somone else here that not many people may know of GOOD LUCK!! lol...So sometimes it is good to stand out because than evryone knows who you are, and sometimes people may know your name but you dont know theirs :)

Tall and Skinny

I dont know about other tall girls but i have a really hard time gaining any weight. I have to eat all the time no matter what time of the day it is i am hungry and i eat. And no matter how much i eat i dont gain no weight, i could probably eat a whole elephant and still not gain weight. Even if i eat a big dinner or lunch, i am stuffed for maybe like 15 min tops and again i am hungry. Now a lot of people tell me its because i have a fast metabolism and that it will slow down when i will get older. But i would really like to have curves now and not be all bones and skin it just dosent look good!!! Who wants to look like a tree. Did anyone have the same trouble as i do now?

New Years Eve

So me and my friend decided to go to a club for new years eve, she was with her boyfriend and i just went along with them. But wow did i feel popular that night!! There were guys coming to me asking me how tall i am and talking to me and it was a great time. That was actually the first time i actually told everyone how tall i am, i decided what the heck its a new year might as well change some things and why not just say how tall i am. And i got some pretty neat responses like wow you that tall and gorgeous/ beautiful and it really made me feel good about myself.

At one time me and my friends went and sit down because we were all tired from the dancing and while i was sitting just random guys would come up to me and talk to me and ask me how tall i am because they saw me on the dancefloor or some even just walked by and wanted a high five from me and said that i am beautiful and wished me a happy new year, my friend even got jealous because she is tall too not as tall as me because she is only 5'10..

But there was this one particular guy there who was a security there that totally loved me, that's what he told me just because i am so tall, whenever i would go downstairs of the club he would always find me and ask me if i am having a good time and if everything is alright. i felt like he was my security LOL.... and just before i was about to leave i went downstairs again to look for my friend and there the security guy was once again. This time he said to me " you are so beautiful and tall that i just have to get a hug from you" and so i hugged him and he was very happy and whats funny the next guy that was just standing around there said can I also get a hug from you too also LOL. I was wowed that guys just wanted a hug from me because i was tall, that was deffnetly a first.

I will never forget this night.....
